I am extremely sad to say I found out today my good friend and artist mentor Ray Vinella passed yesterday. He was the grandpa I never had. I don't have grandparents or much family. It hit me hard that I was going to show him the new work I have been working on this week... I'm happy he can join his deceased wife. And I'll miss him dearly.
This is my favorite painting he done. The first time I saw it I didn't notice the angel in the foreground. Mastery of focal points.
Like he told me I'll continue to keep swinging my brush. And continue my brush milage.
